Stefani Catenzaro, APRN

PEDIATRIC NURSE PRACTITIONER

Stefani Catenzaro, APRN earned her MSN as a pediatric nurse practitioner from Yale University in New Haven, CT. She also has her MS in Marriage and Family Therapy from Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, CT.

Stefani worked at The Connecticut Center for ADHD in Middletown, CT for over 10 years. Although this practice is now defunct, Stefani had the privilege of working under two wonderful developmental and behavioral pediatricians. She also worked in conjunction with a child psychiatrist and school teachers who specialized in special education and learning disabilities.

Prior to the ADHD Center, Stefani worked at the pediatric primary care office of Dr. Henry and Dr. Adamenko in Glastonbury, CT. And before that, she was Medical Director at The Children’s Home of Cromwell in Cromwell, CT, where she developed a medical department that complied with DCF regulations. The program was so successful that she was invited to join a board at DCF for developing similar programs.

Stefani is the mother of three grown children including one with autism. She loves all things Disney, Star Trek, and Star Wars. When she isn’t busy with her kids, she is working on getting published in the romance genre.

Mary Fulton, MS

TEACHER & EXECUTIVE FUNCTION COACH

Mary Fulton, Reading Teacher and Executive Function Coach, is a graduate of Hope College in Holland, MI and obtained her Master’s degree in Psychology from Springfield College in Springfield, MA. She would later acquire her Teaching degree from Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, CT.

Mary’s early career was focused around teaching Language Arts and Social Studies at West Hartford, CT public schools. She later moved into adult reading education, working for the Read to Succeed program. It was her work at Read to Succeed that sparked her passion for working with students who have difficulty learning to read.

Mary went on to work at The Connecticut Center for ADHD where she collaborated with Developmental Pediatricians, Nurse Practitioners and teachers in evaluating and creating care plans for patients with ADHD and executive function deficits. It is here at the intersection of reading instruction and attention disorders that she truly found her calling.

With experience in multi-sensory reading instruction programs (Orton-Gillingham, Lindamood Bell LIPS, and Wilson Reading) that are recognized by the National Institute of Health National Reading Panel as evidence-based approaches to reading instruction, Mary is an integral part of the ADHD Warriors of Connecticut.

In her spare time Mary enjoys cooking, gardening, hiking, running, music, and most of all spending time with her family.

Janice Blake, APRN

PSYCHIATRIC NURSE PRACTITIONER

Janice Blake, APRN earned her MSN as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Regis College in Weston, MA.

After starting as a medical assistant at The Connecticut Center for ADHD in Middletown, CT in 2013, Janice felt inspired to become a provider herself. Once she completed her schooling, she fulfilled her dream and became a provider at The Connecticut Center for ADHD prior to its closure. Aside from her clinical experience in behavioral and developmental pediatrics, she has clinical experience in adult and geriatric psychiatry, substance use disorders, community mental health, and eating disorders.

Janice is personable and enthusiastic with a knack for bringing about a fresh perspective and a bit of humor. She has developed her passion for helping children and families over the past decade and considers family dynamics, academic functioning, medical factors, and nutrition when assessing patient concerns and making recommendations. Janice blends traditional and complementary forms of medicine in her practice. She enjoys practicing yoga and spending time outdoors.

Emily Catenzaro, BA

PRACTICE MANAGER

Emily Catenzaro graduated cum laude from the University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT in 2017 with a Bachelor’s degree in English literature. A lifelong figure skater, Emily began teaching more skating after graduation, and quickly discovered she has a passion for teaching and for running a small business. She completed her yoga teacher training at West Hartford Yoga in 2019 and now runs her own small business teaching yoga to figure skaters.

Emily manages the day-to-day duties at ADHD Warriors of CT and helps the practice run smoothly. She specializes in social media marketing and is also responsible for updating the website, publishing the newsletter, and more.
